Spanberger appoints Stacey Brayboy to Radford University Board of Visitors

Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger has appointed Stacey Y. Brayboy to the Radford University Board of Visitors. Her term began July 1, 2026, and will expire June 30, 2030.

Brayboy is a nationally recognized public policy and government affairs executive with more than two decades of experience leading advocacy, public affairs and strategic partnerships across the federal, state, nonprofit and private sectors. She currently serves as senior vice president of public policy and government affairs at March of Dimes, where she leads the organization's national federal and state advocacy strategy. She also has served in senior leadership roles in the U.S. Department of Agriculture and as the Commonwealth of Virginia's director of the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs and Virginia Federal Liaison. Brayboy received her Bachelor of Science degree in political science and sociology from Francis Marion University and a Master of Public Administration from Clark Atlanta University.
