Southfield Parks & Recreation Invites Community to “Skate for a Cause” December 23

Help local families in need while enjoying a night on the ice!

Southfield Parks & Recreation invites residents of all ages to lace up their skates and give back this holiday season at Skate for a Cause, taking place Tuesday, December 23 from 5-6:50 p.m. at the Southfield Sports Arena, 26000 Evergreen Road.

Celebrate the season of giving with a night on the ice at our annual Skate for a Cause! Take a break from the holiday rush and enjoy a fun, family-friendly evening while supporting local families in need.

Admission and skate rental are free and open to everyone with a donation of a non-perishable food item per person. Everything collected will go directly to local food assistance programs serving Southfield families. Bring friends, bring family, and help spread some holiday cheer in a meaningful way.
"Skate for a Cause is a fun way to bring the community together and make a difference," said Parks & Recreation Programmer Nicole Bush. "Every can, box, or bag of food helps brighten the holidays for a Southfield family."
