Rep. Segun Adeyina to Host Dedication Ceremony for Lt. Col. Albert “Butch” S. Welch Jr. Memorial Bridge Tomorrow
ATLANTA - State Representative Segun Adeyina (D-Grayson) invites members of the media and the public to attend the dedication ceremony for the Lt. Col. Albert "Butch" S. Welch Jr. Memorial Bridge, honoring the life, military service and legacy of Lt. Col. Welch TOMORROW, Friday, August 7, 2026, at 11 a.m. at the Old Krystal Restaurant in Atlanta, Ga.
"This bridge dedication is a lasting tribute to Lt. Col. Welch's courage, leadership and commitment to service," said Rep. Adeyina. "We are proud to honor his legacy for generations to come."
During the 2026 legislative session, Rep. Adeyina sponsored House Resolution 1609 which dedicates a bridge in DeKalb County as the 'Lt. Col. Albert "Butch" S. Welch Jr. Memorial Bridge.'
