Holiday Express Returns to Pullen Park

One of Raleigh's most beloved holiday traditions is back! Holiday Express at Pullen Park will once again transform the park into a winter wonderland filled with festive lights, seasonal activities, and holiday magic for the whole family. Tickets for this popular event will go on sale Tuesday, Oct. 14, at 9 a.m. exclusively through Ticketmaster.

This marks a change from previous years, as tickets will no longer be sold through RecLink. Guests are encouraged to plan ahead and create a Ticketmaster account in advance to ensure a smooth purchasing experience. Tickets are $17 per person, plus taxes and fees, and are expected to sell quickly-so don't wait until the last minute!

Event Highlights

• Holiday Express Train Ride: Enjoy a magical ride through Pullen Park, complete with twinkling lights and festive decorations.
• Enchanted Elevator: Step into a whimsical elevator ride that transports you straight to the North Pole.
• Santa's Toy Shop: Walk through Santa's cozy caboose workshop and catch a glimpse of the big man himself.
• Holiday Attractions: Explore Candy Cane Lane, Gingerbread Grove, Arctic Avenue, and new for 2025, the Igloo Experience hosted by the Rotary Club of Crabtree
• Family Fun: Carousel rides, games, crafts, reindeer scavenger hunts, and festive treats await guests of all ages.
• Sensory-Friendly Days: Back by popular demand, we will be hosting two sensory-friendly sessions from 1 - 4 p.m. on December 6 and 14 where noise and crowds will be limited to create a more enjoyable atmosphere for individuals with sensory needs.

Guests should dress for the outdoors, as most activities take place outside. The event will operate rain or shine in light weather conditions, with updates posted on the Holiday Express website in case of severe weather.
