Danos Promotes Melanie Hill to Vice President of Land Production Services

Danos announced leadership changes within its land production services division as the company continues expanding operations across key shale regions, including the Permian Basin, Eagle Ford and the Rocky Mountains.

Melanie Hill has been promoted from general manager of shale to vice president of Danos land production services. In her new role, Hill will focus on advancing Danos' shale strategy, strengthening customer relationships and supporting continued growth across the company's core land production markets, while continuing oversight of operations in major U.S. shale basins.

Since joining Danos in 2020, Hill has played a key role in expanding and strengthening the company's onshore operations. With more than a decade of industry experience and a strong track record of leadership, she has demonstrated a deep commitment to Danos' people, customers and purpose.

"Melanie has been instrumental in building strong teams and delivering results for our customers," said Reed Pere, president of Danos Operations Services. "Her leadership, industry knowledge and commitment to developing people position us well as we continue expanding our land production services footprint."

As part of the transition, Greg Short has been promoted from operations manager to general manager of Danos land production services. Short has been with Danos for 14 years and brings extensive operational experience supporting onshore production operations. In his new role, he will help lead day-to-day operations while supporting the company's continued focus on safety, operational performance and customer service.

Danos continues to expand its presence in major shale basins across the United States. In 2025, the company announced the acquisition of John Wood Group PLC's U.S. onshore oil and gas labor supply operations, strengthening its footprint in the Permian Basin, Eagle Ford and other key shale plays while expanding the range of production and renewable energy services offered to customers.
