Innovation, entrepreneurship and timely institutional support have enabled many aspiring entrepreneurs to establish enterprises that contribute to India's technological advancement and self-reliance. One such inspiring example is Thrishanku Technologies Private Limited, a Bengaluru-based company founded by Mr. Suneel Kumar Sirigiri. The company's journey demonstrates the transformative impact of the Venture Capital Fund for Scheduled Castes (VCF-SC) under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.

Thrishanku Technologies Private Limited has established a state-of-the-art electronics design and manufacturing facility dedicated to the production of printed circuit boards (PCBs), radar systems and EDGE AI devices. The company provides advanced electronic manufacturing services to reputed organisations, including L&T, BEL, DRDO laboratories, ECIL, Astra Microwave Products Ltd., Capgemini, Wipro and Cypress. Recognising the project's strategic importance, the Venture Capital Fund for Scheduled Castes extended financial assistance of 4.47 crore in 2022 through venture capital assistance comprising equity and optionally convertible debentures.

The support facilitated the procurement of advanced machinery, testing instruments and software tools, strengthened the company's capabilities in radar systems and EDGE AI product development, and generated skilled employment opportunities in the technology sector.

The impact of the intervention has been significant. Today, the enterprise has generated direct employment for 30 professionals, including 8 Scheduled Caste employees and 22 non-Scheduled Caste employees. It has created assets worth 7 crore, achieved a net worth of ₹3.92 crore, generated revenue of ₹2.85 crore, and recorded a profit of approximately ₹4 lakh. The company has also established strong business linkages with India's defence, aerospace and industrial sectors, contributing to the vision of Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat.
