Status of Evacuation Notices, Alerts, and Orders

Wrigley - Evacuation Order is being downgraded July 29, 2026 @ 17:00

• The community has announced that the Evacuation Order is being downgraded July 29, 2026 @ 17:00 (5pm)

• Following the downgrade of the Evacuation Order to an Evacuation Alert, Wrigley evacuees are now able to return home. Transportation has been arranged for those who require assistance returning from Fort Smith.

• **IMPORANT**This will be the only transportation opportunity provided by the community of Wrigley (Pehdzeh Ki First Nation). If you miss your scheduled flight or choose not to register for the scheduled flights on Thursday, you will be responsible for making your own travel arrangements at your own expense.

• These flights are intended for Wrigley evacuees currently in Fort Smith who require transportation to return home.

• Upon return, residents should stay aware of current conditions and remain prepared in the event that wildfire activity in the area changes.

Return Flight Registration and Travel Information for Wrigley Evacuees

Registration for return flights will take place at the Pelican Hotel lobby starting at 5:00pm on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. If you are not staying at the hotel but still require transportation home to Wrigley, you can call and register for the flights. Please contact Lauren at 867-872-0779 to register over the phone.

• Once registered, you will be provided with additional information on times and locations of your shuttle bus to the airport. If you are not using the shuttle service to the airport, you must ensure you arrive at the airport in time for your assigned check-in.

• Each passenger is permitted:

  • One checked bag (maximum 50 lbs)

  • One personal item

• Only designated service animals will be permitted on the flights and must be accompanied by appropriate supporting documentation.

• Passengers who do not register in advance will not be permitted to board the aircraft.

• Return flights are scheduled to depart on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at:

  • 9:45 a.m.

  • 4:15 p.m.

Driving Home

• For any evacuees driving home to Wrigley, the N'Dulee Ferry (M.V. Johnny Berens) will be operating regular hours, from 9 am to 11am and 2pm to 8pm.
