FloridaCommerce Announces $5 Million Available through Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) 50/50 Third-Party Partnership Program

~Eligible entities including community colleges, local workforce and nonprofit organizations can apply through Friday, July 17, 2026~

Tallahassee, FL - Today, FloridaCommerce announced $5 million is available through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) 50/50 Third-Party Partnership Program. The program empowers local organizations to maximize resources and expand job-training opportunities. Eligible entities may apply through Friday, July 17, 2026.

Under the 50/50 reimbursement framework, approved third-party partners leverage their own non-federal funding to provide employment and training services and are subsequently reimbursed for up to 50% of allowable administrative and training costs through federal funds administered by the state. This model functions as a funding multiplier by allowing eligible entities-including non-profits, community-based organizations, workforce boards and community colleges-to secure a 50% federal match without requiring any new state tax dollars.

Combined partners and federal resources directly support allowable administrative and training costs, including skills-based job training, adult education and critical participant support services like transportation and textbooks.

Additionally, FloridaCommerce is hosting a webinar on June 22, 2026, at 11 a.m., Eastern Time, to provide an overview of the application process. To register, click here.
