Brookmont Marks Transfer of Industry-First Catastrophic Bond ETF to TXSE with Market Close Bell Ceremony
DALLAS, October 29, 2026 - The Texas Stock Exchange welcomed Brookmont Capital Management to its Dallas headquarters today to ring the closing bell and celebrate the transfer of the Brookmont Catastrophic Bond ETF (TXSE: ILS). ILS began trading on TXSE on September 18, 2026 after moving from NYSE Arca. Watch the bell ceremony HERE.
The first U.S.-listed ETF dedicated to catastrophe bonds, ILS waslaunched in April 2025, giving everyday investors access to a market once limited to institutional investors. ILS has since grown to more than $150 million in assets under management, with GTS being added as lead market maker after transferring to TXSE.
"Both Brookmont and TXSE are innovative companies with pioneering spirits, and it's that spirit that's produced disruptive policies that has led us to do things we couldn't do on any other exchange," said Ethan Powell, Principal and Chief Investment Officer of Brookmont Capital Management. "When we brought [ILS] to market on another exchange in 2025, it had no lead market maker, which is very rare. TXSE's lead market maker program changed that."
Founded in Dallas in 2007 by Neal Scott, Brookmont Capital Management is an SEC-registered, employee-owned investment firm that manages more than $1 billion in assets. Brookmont focuses on low-correlation strategies and alternative income, and its strategies include Dividend Growth, Quality Growth, and Core Dividend. The firm serves institutions, endowments, pension plans, financial advisors, and RIAs.
"Brookmont made history by launching the world's first catastrophe bond ETF, democratizing access to an asset traditionally reserved for institutions," said Rob Marrocco, Global Head of Exchange Traded Products at the Texas Stock Exchange. "That's what innovation should do: open doors and give investors more choice."
