Early voting begins Wednesday, June 24

CHANDLER, Ariz. - Registered Chandler voters are encouraged to vote in the upcoming Primary Election and return the ballot by mail in the paid affidavit envelope provided. All voted ballots must be received no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, July 21. To return your voted ballot by mail, Maricopa County recommends mailing your signed and sealed envelope and ballot before Tuesday, July 14, in time for the ballot to be received by Election Day.

Ballots received after the July 21 date will not be counted. Postmarks do not count. As an alternative to returning a ballot by U.S. mail, voted ballots may also be dropped off, at the following Chandler locations during the listed dates and hours below. These locations also will be open to obtain a replacement ballot or to vote in-person.

  • Chandler-Gilbert Community College, 2626 E. Pecos Road
    • Open June 24-July 11, July 18, and July 20 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    • Open July 13-July 17 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
    • Open Election Day, July 21 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
    • Closed Saturdays (except on dates noted above), Sundays, and Friday, July 3
  • Chandler Nature Center, 4050 E. Chandler Heights Road
    • Open July 13-July 17 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
    • Open July 18 and July 20 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    • Open Election Day, July 21 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • American Legion Matthew B. Juan Post 35, 2240 W. Chandler Blvd.
    • Open July 20 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    • Open Election Day, July 21 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Praise and Worship Center, 2551 N. Arizona Ave., #3
    • Open July 20 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    • Open Election Day, July 21 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Sun Lakes United Methodist Church, 9248 E. Riggs Road
    • Open July 20 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    • Open Election Day, July 21 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Tumbleweed Recreation Center, 745 E. Germann Road
    • Open July 20 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    • Open Election Day, July 21 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Chandler City Hall, located at 175 S. Arizona Ave., first floor, will serve as an early ballot drop-off location (no in-person voting or ballot replacement), starting June 24, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday. The site will be closed July 3 and 4. On Election Day, Chandler City Hall will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. for ballot drop-off only.

In addition to the sites noted above, the following Chandler vote center locations will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day for in-person voting and ballot drop-off:

  • Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints/Chandler, 800 W. Chandler Heights Road
  • Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints/Galveston, 1950 W. Galveston St.
  • Desert Oasis Aquatic Center, 1400 W. Summit Place
  • First Baptist Church Chandler, 3405 S. Arizona Ave.
  • Islamic Center of the East Valley, 425 N. Alma School Road
  • Mesquite Groves Aquatic Center, 5901 S. Hillcrest Drive
  • MVD Chandler, 50 S. Beck Ave.
  • Nozomi Aquatic Center, 250 S. Kyrene Road

Replacement ballots may be obtained at these locations listed above for voters who have ballots that are spoiled, destroyed or if the voter did not receive a ballot. There are multiple locations throughout the Valley where Chandler voters can request a replacement ballot or drop-off their voted ballots. To view the complete list, visit Location.Maricopa.Vote.

As a reminder, registered voters have until 5 p.m. Friday, July 10, to request a replacement ballot by mail. To request a replacement ballot by mail, call Maricopa County Elections at 602-506-1511.

The Primary Election publicity pamphlet was mailed in early June and may be viewed online at Primary Election. Voters may track their ballot status at BeBallotReady.Vote or sign up for the ballot status alerts by texting "JOIN" to 628-683.
