ADVISORY - LACKAWANNA COUNTY - Governor Shapiro, Secretary Rowe to Visit Neil Armstrong Elementary, Highlight Historic Investments in Public Education

Governor Josh Shapiro and PDE Secretary Dr. Carrie Rowe will visit Neil Armstrong Elementary School to highlight how the historic investments in public education secured by Governor Shapiro are improving our schools and creating more opportunity for our kids.

Over the past three years, the Shapiro Administration has increased funding for Pennsylvania schools by $11.85 billion. The Governor's 2026-27 budget secured a one-year increase of $678 million - a nearly 35% increase since taking office.
