Three Lamar University alumni have been recognized as Teachers of the Year for the 2026-27 school year in Bridge City Independent School District.

Brandi (Arnold) Clark, a 1999 graduate, was named Teacher of the Year at Bridge City Intermediate School.

Cynthia (Jones) Bazinet, a 1998 graduate, was selected as Teacher of the Year at Bridge City Middle School.

Marie Robicheaux, who earned her Bachelor of Science from LU in 1994, was named Teacher of the Year at Bridge City High School.
