Neighborhood clean-up events return for a fourth year in 2026

Spring cleaning just got easier. The City of Roseville and the Roseville Coalition of Neighborhood Associations (RCONA) are bringing back their free Neighborhood Clean-Up events, now entering their fourth year.

These community clean-up days give residents a convenient way to dispose of bulky, unwanted items, clear out garages and side yards, and help keep neighborhoods clean and inviting. Events are hosted at locations within or near neighborhood associations, making it easy to participate close to home.

Say goodbye to clutter

Neighborhood Clean-Up events will return this Spring, continuing the program's mission to provide residents with a free, convenient, and responsible way to dispose of unwanted items.
Spring clean-up days are scheduled on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the following locations:
  • April 12: Bridgeway Church, 8150 Industrial Avenue
  • April 26: Bridgeway Church, 8150 Industrial Avenue
  • May 17: St. John's Church, 2351 Pleasant Grove Blvd
  • May 31: Saugstad Park, 100 Buljan Drive
Why these events matter

What began as a small pilot has grown into a successful annual effort that:
  • Reduces illegal dumping
  • Encourages responsible disposal and recycling
  • Builds neighborhood pride through community participation
Each year, thousands of residents take advantage of the opportunity to responsibly dispose of items that are difficult to haul away on their own.

2025 by the numbers

Last year's spring clean-up events demonstrated just how impactful this program has become:
  • Four clean-up events held
  • About 1,800 participating vehicles
  • More than 144 tons of garbage collected
  • 12.73 tons of e-waste recycled
  • Over 4 tons of mattresses diverted from the landfill
"These events showcase what's possible when neighbors and the city work together," said Brian Jones, Waste Services Superintendent. "It's not just about waste removal. It's about community pride and keeping our neighborhoods clean and inviting."
