Spiny lobster season closes April 1

The recreational and commercial spiny lobster harvest seasons in both state and federal waters will close on April 1 and reopen on Aug. 6.

The 2-day recreational sport season will take place on the last Wednesday and Thursday of July, which falls on July 29 and 30 this year.
