THE RELEASE OF MALAYSIAN PARTICIPANTS OF FREEDOM FLOTILLA COALITION MISSION
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs wishes to confirm that all nine (9) Malaysians, who participated in the Freedom Flotilla Coalition (FFC) and Thousand Madleens to Gaza (TMTG) humanitarian mission, have been released today, 10 October 2025.
The nine Malaysians have been evacuated from Israel via Turkish Airlines Flight TK6921, and have arrived in Istanbul, Türkiye, at 2.30pm (local time) or 7.30pm (Malaysia time). They will undergo health and medical assessments in Istanbul before returning to Malaysia in the coming days.
The Ministry conveys Malaysia's deep appreciation to the Government of Türkiye and our other partners for their pivotal facilitation and support that have led to the swift release and repatriation of the Malaysian citizens.
The safety and welfare of all Malaysian citizens remain the utmost priority of the Malaysian Government.
