Commission Awards Contracts for Southeast District Projects

SIKESTON - The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for the Southeast District during its regular meeting on Nov. 6. The contracts included a bridge replacement, sidewalk improvements, and pavement resurfacing.

  • A $769,022 contract was awarded to Joe's Bridge & Grading, Inc., for a bridge replacement on Route Z over the Main Drainage Ditch in Dunklin County.
  • A $297,533 contract was awarded to Putz Construction, LLC, for Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) sidewalk improvements in the Missouri towns of Bernie, Campbell, and Portageville.
  • A $3,728,000 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Company, for pavement resurfacing on Route 25 from Route 77 to Route 91 in Cape Girardeau County.
  • A $962,808 contract was awarded to Putz Construction, LLC, for Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) sidewalk improvements in the Missouri towns of Bloomfield, Park Hills, Arcadia, and Jackson.
  • A $3,153,810 contract was awarded to Apex Paving Co., for pavement resurfacing on the following routes:
    • Routes K, BB, CC, M, and Y in Pemiscot County,
    • Routes AD and ZZ in New Madrid County, and;
    • Route Z in Dunklin County.
