TRAFFIC ALERT - Statewide - I-95 and SR 896 Interchange - Upcoming Closure

The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) alerts motorists that there will be overnight lane closures on northbound I-95 from south of the Maryland State line to the toll plaza for milling and paving. There will be overnight lane closures on southbound I-95 from the Route 896 Interchange to the Maryland line for milling and paving and overnight ramp closured for the northbound and southbound Route 896 on-ramps to southbound I-95 for milling and paving.

LOCATIONS & SCHEDULE
I-95 Southbound from Route 896 Interchange to MD Line - overnight right lane closures for milling and paving
• November 1 from 8:00 PM to November 2 at 6:00 PM - single 8:00 PM, double 9:00 PM, one high-speed E-ZPass lane will be closed
• November 2 from 7:00 PM to November 3 at 7:00 AM - single 7:00 PM, double 8:00 PM, cash
E-ZPass lanes will be closed
• November 3 from 8:00PM to November 4 at 7:00 AM - double 8:00 PM, cash E-ZPass lanes will be closed
• November 4 from 7:00 PM to November 5 at 7:00 AM - single 7:00 PM, double 8:00 PM, cash E- ZPass lanes will be closed

I-95 Southbound from Toll Plaza to MD Line - overnight left lane closures for milling and paving
• November 1 from 8:00 PM to November 2 at 6:00 AM - single 8:00 PM, double 9:00 PM

I-95 Southbound from Service Plaza to Route 896 Interchange - shoulder closure for paving
• November 4 from 7:00 PM to November 5 at 7:00 AM

I-95 Northbound from Maryland Route 316 to Toll Plaza - overnight lane closures for milling and paving with lane shift
• November 4 from 8:00 PM to November 5 at 5:00 AM - single 8:00 PM, double 9:00 PM, cash E- ZPass lanes will be closed
• November 5 from 8:00 PM to November 6 at 5:00 AM - single 8:00 PM, double 9:00 PM, high- speed E-ZPass lanes closed

Route 896 Northbound and Southbound On-Ramps to I-95 Southbound - overnight ramp closure for paving
• November 2 from 8:00 PM to November 3 at 5:00 AM - ramp closure, detour will be posted, cash E-ZPass lanes will closed
• November 3 from 9:00 PM to November 4 at 7:00 AM - ramp closure, detour will be posted, cash E-ZPass lanes will closed
• November 4 from 8:00 PM to November 5 at 5:00 AM (If needed) - ramp closure, detour will be posted, cash E-ZPass lanes will closed
