BNI Strengthens Synergy with Merchants through BNI wonderful Iftar 2026

PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, or BNI, held an iftar event with business partners as part of the BNI wonderful Iftar with Merchant 2026 program to strengthen relationships and enhance business collaboration with strategic merchants. The event took place at the Fairmont Hotel in Jakarta on Monday (03/02/2026) and was attended by approximately 70 merchants from various retail segments.

This event was also attended by the Board of Directors and management of BNI, including BNI Deputy President Director Alexandra Askandar and BNI Consumer Banking Director Corina Leyla Karnalies. The merchants in attendance included chain store, local store, and retail store segments, who have been strategic partners of BNI in the development of the digital transaction ecosystem.

BNI Deputy President Director Alexandra Askandar said the Ramadan momentum is an important opportunity for BNI to strengthen ties and deepen cooperation with merchants.

"Ramadan is a time for togetherness, reflection, and strengthening ties. For us at BNI, Ramadan is also a crucial time to strengthen collaboration and encourage business growth with our merchants," said Alexandra in a written statement.

Carrying the theme "Celebrate Your Ramadan Victory with wondr," this activity provides an interactive space for BNI and merchants to exchange views and strengthen long-term partnerships, especially in capitalizing on the momentum of increased transaction activity during Ramadan.

On the occasion, BNI also introduced various digital solutions designed to support merchant business optimization. Among the innovations introduced was the development of the wondr Merchant application with same-day settlement features and 24-hour transaction monitoring.

In addition, BNI also offered contactless payment services through QRIS Tap wondr by BNI, system integration through API and Electronic Cash Register (ECR), as well as support for global payment acceptance such as Visa, Mastercard, JCB, American Express, and China UnionPay.

BNI also provided integrated business transaction management solutions through BNI Direct for Business, as well as various digital payment channels such as EDC, QRIS, Internet Payment Gateway, and Payment Link to support a faster, safer, and more efficient transaction experience for merchants.
