Special Election Details: Where and How to Vote in Dublin

The Statewide Special Election will be held on Tuesday, November 4. Ballots will begin arriving in the mail on October 6. Dublin residents have multiple convenient options to cast their vote - by mail, at a drop box, or in person.

There are two 24-hour ballot drop boxes in Dublin, located at Dublin Civic Center (100 Civic Plaza) and The Wave (4201 Central Parkway). Voters can also use any official drop box in Alameda County.

For those who prefer to vote in person, two Accessible Vote Centers will open in Dublin:

  • The Wave, open October 25 - November 3, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., and on Election Day, November 4, 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
  • Santa Rita Public Works, open November 1 - 3, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., and on Election Day, November 4, 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

To help voters prepare, California Secretary of State Shirley Weber will host a virtual information session on Tuesday, October 7, at 12:00 p.m. The webinar will cover voter rights, key election dates, and how to find trustworthy election information.
