DHS Issues Statement After Biden-Released Illegal Alien Kills Woman in California

Release Date: September 11, 2026

Authorities said that the suspect had been stalking the victim for months

WASHINGTON - The United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released the following statement after an illegal alien released into the country by the Biden Administration shot and killed a woman in California.

According to local reporting, the incident took place on September 8 at a shopping center in Sacramento. The victim, a 38-year-old woman, was approached at her car by the culprit, Rohit Rohit, an illegal alien from India. When she tried to run away, Rohit chased her down, pulled out a gun, and shot her multiple times. After she had fallen to the ground, he shot her again in the head at close range before fleeing in his vehicle.

When police caught up to Rohit, he slammed on his brakes before being found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Local reports detailed how Rohit had stalked the victim in the past. Authorities said that he had stalked her since January 2026, when the victim found an Apple AirTag under the hood of her car. Later, he deflated the woman's vehicle tires and followed her to work so he could pretend to offer her help. At one point, he allegedly obtained a copy of her apartment key so he could enter her home while she slept. Even after she got a restraining order against Rohit in May, he continued to stalk her as recently as July.

"This illegal alien from India harassed, stalked, and then killed a 38-year-old woman in California, and then took his own life when police caught up to him," said a DHS Spokesperson. "This tragedy would have been completely avoided if it weren't for the Biden Administration RELEASING this killer into our country. Sanctuary politicians must put an end to reckless policies that play Russian roulette with American lives. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victim and her family."

Rohit illegally entered the United States through Arizona in August 2023, and was arrested by the U.S. Border Patrol. He was then RELEASED into the country by the Biden Administration.
