The RA Minister of Finance, Vahe Hovhannisyan Received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to the Republic of Armenia, Ms. Nilakshi Saha Sinha

The RA Minister of Finance, Vahe Hovhannisyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to the Republic of Armenia, Ms. Nilakshi Saha Sinha.

During the meeting, the parties reaffirmed the importance of strengthening friendly and mutually beneficial relations between Armenia and India, which is one of the priorities enshrined in the program of the Government of the Republic of Armenia.

Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan and Ambassador Nilakshi Saha Sinha discussed the prospects for expanding bilateral economic cooperation, taking into account the positive dynamics of the growth in trade turnover.

Currently, the Ministries of Finance of the two countries are planning to sign a memorandum of cooperation in the field of public financial management, which is aimed at increasing the efficiency of state financial systems and provides for the exchange of knowledge and experience in the areas of budgeting, internal audit, and digital transformation of the sector.
