FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: TAKE A BITE OF MONTGOMERY RETURNS WITH RECORD PARTICIPATION
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, N.Y. --- More than 30 businesses are gearing up for the return of Take of Bite of Montgomery County Restaurant Week set for April 22-26----the largest response since the program began.
This year's event is themed around America 250, commemorating the upcoming 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Participating restaurants are offering a special menu item or promotion priced at $17.76, creating a unifying and recognizable theme across the county.
"Restaurant Week continues to grow each year, and this is our strongest level of participation to date," Montgomery County Executive Pete Vroman said. "The $17.76 promotion ties directly into the America 250 theme and gives both residents and visitors a fun and meaningful way to engage with local businesses."
In addition to traditional restaurants, this year's lineup also includes bakeries, breweries, distilleries and a local farm store, offering visitors a broader taste of Montgomery County's food and beverage scene. From fresh baked goods and craft beverages to locally sourced products, the event highlights the diversity of culinary experiences available throughout the county.
Visit Montgomery County will be highlighting menu options, deals and a behind-the-scenes look at some of the participating establishments on its social media, using the hashtag #TakeaBiteofMontgomery.
In addition to the restaurant promotions, Visit Montgomery County is introducing the Red, White & Bite Challenge, an initiative designed to encourage patrons to explore multiple locations throughout the week.
Participants can earn rewards by visiting participating restaurants and sending pictures of their receipts:
The challenge is intended to drive traffic across the county and highlight the diversity of local dining options or local businesses.
Take a Bite of Montgomery County is supported by a coordinated marketing campaign that includes social media, digital and print advertising, and regional tourism outreach, all aimed at bringing visitors into local restaurants during the five-day event.
