Penn State Altoona professor featured on ABC Australia’s 'Rear Vision' podcast

Brian Black, Distinguished Professor of Environmental Studies and History at Penn State Altoona, was recently the opening keynote speaker for the World History Association's international meeting held June 22-24 in Pittsburgh.

ALTOONA, Pa. - Brian Black, Distinguished professor of history and environmental studies at Penn State Altoona, was the primary guest for a recent episode of ABC Australia's "Rear Vision" podcast.

Since the start of the twentieth century, oil has been the lifeblood of global development. Both the U.S. and Venezuela have played a critical role in the history of that oil flow.

"Controlling Global Oil - the Back Story" takes a look at the story behind oil and the politics of supplying and denying it.
