UW and Wyoming SBDC Network to Recognize SBIR History July 29

Small-business owners, entrepreneurs and startups will have an opportunity to celebrate 44 years of the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program Wednesday, July 29.

A Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network event, titled "Coffee, Connections and 44 Years of SBIR," is scheduled 8-9 a.m. in the University of Wyoming Office Annex Building, located at 406 S. 21st St. in Laramie. The event is hosted by the Wyoming SBIR/Small Business Technology Transfer programs and presented in partnership with IMPACT 307, the Wyoming Business Council and Manufacturing Works.

The Wyoming SBDC Network offers business expertise to help Wyoming residents think about, launch, grow, reinvent or exit their business. The Wyoming SBDC Network is hosted by UW with state funds from the Wyoming Business Council and funded, in part, through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.

The 44-year history of SBIR's role in supporting small-business innovation will be celebrated during this casual networking event. Coffee and pastries will be served.
