MSJ PA Faculty Share Expertise at Annual OAPA Conference

Mount St. Joseph University faculty Professors Green and Wong recently presented their work at the annual Ohio Association of Physician Assistants conference, while MSJ PA alum Markenzie Lyon received recognition for exceptional clinical mentorship.

Mount St. Joseph University's Physician Assistant Studies faculty recently represented the university at the annual Ohio Association of Physician Assistants (OAPA) conference in Cleveland, Ohio, sharing their expertise and innovative approaches to PA education.

Professor Green presented on lipid management, while Professor Wong showcased a poster exhibit on Recall to Reasoning, an active-learning framework designed to enhance student engagement and learning in the classroom.

The conference also celebrated MSJ PA alum Markenzie Lyon, who received the John Trimbath Award for Exceptional Precepting in recognition of excellence in clinical education and mentorship. Professors Green and Wong were joined by MSJ PA graduates from the Class of 2026 at the event.

The annual OAPA conference brings Ohio's physician assistant community together to learn, connect, exchange ideas, and celebrate the profession. MSJ's participation reflects the university's ongoing commitment to advancing PA education and supporting the professional growth of faculty, alumni, and future physician assistants.
