PEOPLE'S BANK OF COMMERCE ANNOUNCES PROMOTION OF NIKKI HOFFMAN TO EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER; CELEBRATES THE RETIRMENT OF COO STEVE ERB

Medford, OR - February 2, 2026 - People's Bank of Commerce is pleased to announce the promotion of Nikki Hoffman to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective January 1, 2026. Hoffman's appointment follows the planned retirement of COO Steve Erb, who will retire on March 13, 2026, after an esteemed 40-year career in banking, including 12 years of dedicated service to People's Bank of Commerce.

Hoffman's career with the Bank has spanned its entire history. When the Bank opened in 1998, she was hired as a part-time teller while still in high school. She steadily advanced through various roles across the organization. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President and IT Director, overseeing critical functions in technology, operations, and strategic infrastructure. As Chief Operating Officer, she will lead IT, Marketing, Compliance, Operations Support, and the Southern Region Branch Network, bringing her extensive institutional knowledge and operational expertise to the executive team.

A graduate of Southern Oregon University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Hoffman continued to strengthen her leadership through professional development at the Graduate School of Banking, Bank Technology Management School in 2020. Most recently, Hoffman is participating in the Pacific Coast Banking School, where she is the 2025 recipient of the prestigious Rise Above the Restâ„¢ Scholarship. This multi-year scholarship recognizes high-potential banking leaders and supports advanced executive education.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Hoffman is active in Oregon's banking community through her involvement with the OBA Technology Roundtable and Synergy by Association's Partner Advisory Committee. She has also been well known for her community service as a volleyball coach, 4-H leader, and organizer of the Southern Oregon Junior Classic livestock show.

Julia Beattie, President and CEO of People's Bank of Commerce, praised Hoffman's leadership, stating:

"Nikki is an extremely accomplished and highly capable leader. She is an exceptionally hard worker and a person of the highest integrity."

As part of the leadership transition, retiring COO Steve Erb will continue supporting Human Resources and will retain his role as COO of PBCO Financial Corporation, the Bank's holding company, until his retirement in March. Erb has been instrumental in the Bank's growth and stability, and the organization extends its deepest gratitude for his years of service.

People's Bank of Commerce congratulates Nikki Hoffman on her well-earned promotion and extends heartfelt appreciation to Steve Erb for his decades of leadership and commitment to the banking industry.
