Harmony for Hunger Concert Series Brings Country and Broadway Favorites to Simi Valley to Benefit Meals On Wheels

The Simi Valley Council On Aging will present the Harmony for Hunger Concert Series, a two-event musical fundraiser benefiting the Simi Valley Meals On Wheels program.

The series begins with "Country Queens," a one-woman impersonator starring acclaimed performer Bethany Owen, celebrating legendary women of classic country music, including Patsy Cline, Tammy Wynette, Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire, Shania Twain, and more. The performance will take place Sunday, June 14, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Santa Susana Performing Arts Center in Simi Valley. In honor of Flag Day, the event will also include a tribute recognizing local veterans.

The series continues with "Broadway Here We Come," an exciting showcase featuring top Broadway performers singing beloved songs from productions such as Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, Les Misérables, The Sound of Music, Fiddler on the Roof, and more. The performance will be held on Sunday, August 23, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Santa Susana Performing Arts Center.

Tickets are on sale now at: https://bit.ly/Harmony4Hunger. Prices per show are $50 for lower seating and $40 for upper seating, with all proceeds supporting the Simi Valley Meals On Wheels program.

Local businesses and organizations are also invited to participate through advertising and sponsorship opportunities, providing community exposure while supporting vital senior nutrition services.

"Together, these performances promise an afternoon of music, nostalgia, and community spirit, all in support of helping local seniors remain healthy, nourished, and connected," said Council On Aging Chair Janice Del Santo.
