JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Missouri Farm Bureau's State Political Action Committee has endorsed Jake Vogel for election to the Missouri Senate in District 6.
Vogel, a former U.S. Army Ranger and president of Jefferson City Coca-Cola Bottling Co., won the Republican nomination in a competitive six-way primary Aug. 4. With his family background in local politics and leadership, he has demonstrated an in-depth understanding of community needs and commitment to serving the 6th District.
"Jake understands the importance of hard work, responsibility and building a strong business that can be passed from one generation to the next," said Don Steen, Miller County resident and vice-chairman of the Central Endorsement Committee. "We are proud to support him and believe he will bring that same work ethic to the Capitol and be a strong voice for Missouri's farmers, ranchers and small-business owners."
Vogel is the fifth generation of his family to lead Jefferson City Coca-Cola Bottling Co., which was chartered in 1892 and became a Coca-Cola franchisee in 1905.
