The Naveen Jindal School of Management at The University of Texas at Dallas strengthened its reputation as one of the nation's leading schools for online graduate business education.

Five Jindal School programs earned top-10 spots in their respective categories in the U.S. News & World Report 2026 Best Online Program rankings, which were released Jan. 27.

The online Master of Business Administration program moved up one spot this year to No. 10 overall and ranks first among Texas schools. UT Dallas climbed eight places to No. 8 for best online master's in business programs (non-MBA) and is tied for second in Texas. Among the Jindal School's MBA specialty programs, the business analytics program also ranked eighth.

"These rankings speak to what our students experience every day - a rigorous curriculum, outstanding instruction from our world-class faculty and meaningful support from admission to graduation," said Lisa Shatz, senior assistant dean and director of the Jindal School's MBA programs. "Our online programs are designed to give working professionals a high-quality experience while allowing them to balance work, family and other commitments. This recognition validates the work we're doing and inspires us to stay the course."

Last fall, UT Dallas, which received the Veteran Education Excellence Recognition Gold Award from the Texas Veterans Commission for the fifth consecutive year, ranked 73th overall and third among public schools in Texas on U.S. News' Best Colleges for Veterans list.

Dr. Mark Thouin, associate dean for graduate programs and clinical professor of information systems, said the rankings reflect the high quality of graduate education offered in the Jindal School.

"The experience we provide our graduate students is unparalleled and offers many opportunities, both in and out of the classroom," he said. "This includes forward-thinking, innovative curricula from outstanding faculty who integrate artificial intelligence into every program. Students also benefit from abundant career networking opportunities, internships, connections to our alumni base, scholarships and more. I am pleased that our rankings reflect the commitment we've made to offering master's and MBA programs that are second to none."
