Centinela Hospital Medical Center’s Dr. Paryus Patel Named Among Nation’s Top Chief Medical Officers

INGLEWOOD, Calif. - Centinela Hospital Medical Center is proud to celebrate Dr. Paryus Patel, MD, who has been named to Becker's Hospital Review's prestigious Hospital and Health System Chief Medical Officers to Know in 2026 list.
Dr. Patel serves as Chief Medical Officer for Centinela Hospital Medical Center as well as Corporate Chief Medical Officer for Prime Healthcare and CMO for Prime Healthcare's Region III-VI - a network that spans 20 acute care community hospitals across the country. He is based out of Ontario, Calif.
A triple board-certified physician in critical care medicine, internal medicine, and pulmonology, Dr. Patel brings nearly 30 years of medical expertise to his leadership roles. Throughout his career, he has implemented new accountable care organization programs, expanded Prime Healthcare's hospitalist and surgical nursing facility programs, and launched three disease management initiatives - contributions that have meaningfully advanced patient care across the system.
Dr. Patel is one of several Prime Healthcare leaders recognized on this year's list, a testament to the health system's commitment to physician-led excellence and high-quality care across its hospital network.
