Ricketts Celebrates Committee Advancement of Bipartisan Bills to Fuel Innovation, Boost American Energy Production

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Yesterday, U.S. Senator Pete Ricketts (R-NE), a member of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, voted to advance a package of bipartisan bills to fuel innovation and boost American energy production. Bills advanced yesterday include the Nuclear REFUEL Act, the Diesel Emissions Reduction Act, the Legacy Mine Cleanup Act, the Save Our Seas 2.0 Marine Debris Infrastructure Programs Reauthorization Act, and the Great Lakes Fishery Research Reauthorization Act.

"Despite the Schumer Shutdown, we're continuing to deliver for the American people," said Senator Ricketts. "This package of bipartisan bills will fuel innovation, boost American nuclear energy, and improve our recycling infrastructure."
