TRS-4D radar supports IRIS-T SLM in naval training

Like the ground-based TRML-4D air defense radar, the naval variant comes from the same "medium-range radar" product family. The TRML-4D radar has been integrated into the IRIS-T SLM for several years and is performing exceptionally well in reconnaissance missions in Ukraine. The family concept enables continuous product improvements and offers advantages in terms of spare parts supply and training.

HENSOLDT has decades of experience with radar systems in the naval sector and is actively driving forward the further development of key technologies in this area. Various versions of the TRS-4D product family radars are already in use on board German Navy ships, including the F125 frigate and the K130 corvette.
