PASADENA, Calif. - Understanding when and how a tenancy may legally end can raise important questions for both tenants and landlords. In general, just cause protections require landlords to have a legally recognized reason to end a tenancy. Pasadena's Rent Stabilization Charter includes just cause eviction protections for covered rental units, helping ensure that evictions are based on specific legal grounds and follow required procedures.
