NIFA Invests $3.2M to Support Food and Agriculture National Needs Fellowships

The purpose of the Food and Agricultural Sciences National Needs Graduate and Postgraduate Fellowship (NNF) Grants Program is to support outstanding new master's and doctoral students in traineeship programs across the food and agriculture science fields. Faculty project directors engage with these students to pursue degrees in areas where there is an identified national need for the development of scientific and professional expertise. NNF awards invest in graduate training and relevant experiential learning for individuals who demonstrate potential to successfully complete graduate degree programs in disciplines relevant to USDA's mission.
