Millersburg, Pa., July 23, 2026 - Mid Penn Bank last week hosted its 11th annual Mid Penn Bank Celebrity Golf Classic in Hershey, PA, in support of the PA Breast Cancer Coalition, the Basser Center for BRCA at Penn Medicine, and the Pink Roses Teal Magnolias Fund at MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper Health, in partnership with The Cooper Foundation. The multi-day event brought together over 60 celebrities, dozens of sponsors and community partners to raise awareness and funding for breast cancer research, legislative advocacy, high-quality screening, diagnosis and treatment.
"Over the previous 10 years of this tournament, while we were ecstatic to raise and contribute over $1.4 million to our three amazing breast cancer charities, we know our work is not done until breast cancer is no longer the devastating reality it is today," Mid Penn Bank President and CEO Rory G. Ritrievi said. "This year's tournament will add to that total, of course, but as we say around here, wait till you see next year."
The all-star lineup for the 2026 Mid Penn Bank Celebrity Golf Classic included: Philadelphia Eagles legends Ron Jaworski, Mike Quick, Seth Joyner, Brandon Graham, Keith Byars and Brian Westbrook; Pittsburgh Steelers greats Santonio Holmes, Greg Lloyd and Mike Merriweather; former NFL players Hugh Green, Christian Hackenberg, Eric Dickerson, Dwight Hicks and Andre Roberts; media personalities John Clark, Joe DeCamara, and Beasley Reece; actors Gary Valentine, Jackie Flynn, Nikki Flynn, and Bill Glass; model and actress Kim Alexis; and other celebrity guests.
The multi-day event began with the Champions Dinner July 14 at The Hotel Hershey and continued July 15 with the Celebrity Shoot-Out at Hershey Country Club and a Pairings Party and silent auction at The Hershey Lodge. The event concluded with the Celebrity Golf Tournament on July 16 at Hershey Country Club.
Project Pink, now in its sixth year, was held during the Celebrity Shoot-Out in partnership with the PA Breast Cancer Coalition. Volunteers, celebrity guests and other participants came together to pack 200 care packages for women across Pennsylvania who have been newly diagnosed with breast cancer. Each package includes comfort items, educational resources and messages of encouragement to support patients as they begin treatment. With this year's efforts included, Project Pink has packed more than 1,200 care packages to support women beginning their breast cancer journey.
