City of Columbia to host Let's Talk Local discussion for Ward 5

(COLUMBIA, MO) - The City of Columbia is hosting the monthly Let's Talk Local discussion from 5:30-7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24 at Gentry Middle School, 4200 Bethel St. This month's discussion will feature Ward 5 Council Member Don Waterman.The discussion topic will focus on economic development efforts with Regional Economic Development Inc. (REDI), the City's economic development partner. If there are specific topics or questions you would like to be addressed, please share them at BeHeard.CoMo.gov/ask-city-council. Council members and City staff will try to answer these as time allows at the meeting. Answers will also be posted on BeHeard.These meetings are open to all residents from any ward. Refreshments will be provided. Attendees are asked to register at the following link: https://forms.gle/Dj7oxmr27ic1W6rTA. Residents can find which ward they reside in at CoMo.gov/boards/city-council/wards-map/.Members of the public may attend any open meeting.
