WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today at an event in Clayton, NC, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced its endorsement of Rep. Brad Knott for North Carolina's 13th District. The U.S. Chamber endorses candidates for federal office who will support policies that drive innovation, grow the economy, and create opportunities for American businesses and workers.
"Congressman Brad Knott has a strong record of fighting for his constituents in areas such as retail crime, infrastructure, and economic growth," said Brince Manning, Senior Manager of the U.S. Chamber's Southeastern Regional Office. "His background and unique understanding of our legal system make his leadership invaluable as we work in Washington to move our economy forward. We are proud to endorse Congressman Knott for reelection in North Carolina's 13th Congressional District, and we look forward to working with him in the 120th Congress."
"Economic freedom must be fought for. When local businesses are free to innovate, build, and grow, everyone benefits. This is why I appreciate the support of job creators with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Of course, thriving businesses strengthen communities, and they offer opportunities from the checkout counter to the factory office. Today, businesses are needlessly restrained with burdensome red tape and disruptive bureaucrats. This hurts all of us with higher prices and fewer opportunities. I'm running to stop these needless interferences to ensure people are free to build businesses that benefit communities all over North Carolina. I'm committed to that fight," said Congressman Brad Knott.
