School of Public Service Dean update
School of Public Service Dean Angie Bos has been appointed Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the College at Occidental College, effective July 1, 2026. Bos joined Boise State as SPS dean in 2022.
"I would like to extend my sincere congratulations to Dr. Bos on her new position and thank her for her service and leadership at Boise State. Her impact on our institution has been tremendous," said Interim Provost Zeynep Hansen.
"I am excited about this opportunity, but it is not easy to leave a community that I care deeply about," Bos said. "It has been an honor to serve as dean of the School of Public Service, and I am grateful for the partnership and collaboration that have advanced the work of SPS."
A leadership transition plan for the School of Public Service is forthcoming.
