Medicaid Bahama Mama - AG Liz Murrill's Office Arrests Louisiana woman for Medicaid Fraud

Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill's Medicaid Fraud Control Unit arrested a White Castle woman for Medicaid Fraud. 65-year-old Sharon Molden, of CPL Herman Brown Jr. Street in White Castle, was arrested on the following charge:

  • 1 count of 14:70.1 Medicaid Fraud

Molden was arrested on Sept. 24, 2026, for one count of LA RS 14:70.1 Medicaid Fraud (Felony) for billing for services not rendered. Molden claims to have provided services as a direct service worker on multiple dates and at times that she was either out of town and/or outside the state of Louisiana.
