• IR Heat for Metal Coatings: IR heating provides a precise, energy-efficient solution for drying and curing water-based topcoats on housings and powder coatings on metal surfaces. Emitters can be tailored to specific materials and surface properties, such as polished versus dark finishes or flat sheets versus solid components, to optimize heating performance. Medium-wave IR emitters support faster surface drying, while short-wave emitters provide deeper heat penetration. This precision improves process reliability while helping reduce energy use, production time and space requirements.
• IR Drying and UV Curing Solution from a Single Source: UV technology enables fast, reliable curing, while IR systems provide precise, uniform drying and heating. Following the acquisitions of Phoseon^® and Noblelight^®, Excelitas now offers a comprehensive portfolio of IR drying and UV curing solutions. The expanded product portfolio includes air- and water-cooled UV LED area-curing systems, UV lamp and LED spot-curing systems, UV microwave and LED systems, IR emitters, and low- and medium-pressure UV curing lamps across the Phoseon, OmniCure^®, Noblelight and Fusion UV^® brands.
