Amy Routhier has been named Senior Director of Major Gifts and Legacy Giving.

Bronson Health Foundation has named Kalamazoo native Amy Routhier as Senior Director of Major Gifts and Legacy Giving. In this role, Routhier will help expand donor engagement and philanthropic support for patient care, healthcare innovation and community health across southwest Michigan.

A leader in higher education advancement and community partnership, Routhier brings experience building fundraising teams, cultivating donor relationships, and connecting people with purposeful causes. In this role, she will lead major gifts, planned giving, legacy giving and grateful patient fundraising as part of a growing team focused on deepening donor relationships and expanding philanthropic partnerships throughout the region.

"Amy brings the fundraising experience, local relationships and collaborative leadership we need as Bronson Health Foundation continues to grow its philanthropy work," said James Corey, vice president and chief development officer at Bronson Health Foundation. "Her work will help connect donors with meaningful opportunities to support care, programs and services that matter to patients and families across our region."

Routhier joins the Foundation as Bronson Healthcare celebrates 125 years of service as the region's largest health system and employer. Her leadership comes at a pivotal time as Bronson Health Foundation expands its philanthropy team to deepen donor engagement, strengthen community partnerships and amplify the impact of charitable giving. As healthcare needs continue to evolve across southwest Michigan, the Foundation plays an increasingly vital role in ensuring Bronson can continue to meet those needs through quality care and programs.

"In this role, I look forward to building meaningful relationships with donors, partnering with physicians and leaders across the health system, and helping connect philanthropic generosity with opportunities to transform patient care and community health," said Routhier.

Routhier most recently served as vice president for institutional advancement at Albion College. She has also held senior leadership roles at Western Michigan University, where she provided strategic leadership for recruitment, enrollment, marketing, outreach and program expansion of the university's regional location and online credit activities.
