WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Senator Rick Scott announced that Nate Madden will serve as his Communications Director, effective March 16.
Senator Rick Scott said, "I'm excited to welcome Nate Madden as my new Communications Director. We have the best communications team in Washington, and Nate brings the strategic vision, leadership experience, and skillset to lead this team as we fight to make Washington work for Florida families."
Madden currently serves as the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Communications at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). He previously served as the Communications Director for Congressman Chip Roy (R-TX) and worked in the first Trump administration as Director of Strategic Outreach and Engagement at DHS. Madden is a 2014 graduate of The Citadel and earned his master's degree in government at Hillsdale College in 2023.
