Appliance Donations Needed for CommUniversity Day Event
Donations of small appliances are needed for the Appliance Autopsy, an event at CommUniversity Day where items are dismantled to see how they work.
Appliance Autopsy gives people the chance to take a peek inside small appliances like toasters, laptops, hair dryers and more. We'll supply the hammers, goggles and screwdrivers, you supply the curiosity!
The event is presented by University and Hospital Community Relations in the Tech and Discovery Neighborhood, where attendees will also get a chance to play "Stump Professor Longtin."
CommUniversity Day will be held Saturday, September 27, from noon to 4 pm on the Academic Mall. Admission and parking are free, and all are welcome.
