Reception dedicated to the 35th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Armenia

On September 23, 2026 the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Hungary hosted an official reception dedicated to the 35th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Armenia.
The reception held in honor of Armenia's National Day was attended by distinguished guests, including Members of the National Assembly of Hungary, government officials, heads and representatives of diplomatic missions. The event also brought together prominent figures from science, education, culture, and the business sector, along with leaders and representatives of the Armenian community in Hungary.
In his opening address H.E. Haykak Arshamyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Hungary reflected on the historical significance of Armenia's Independence Day, highlighting the strategic priorities of the Government of Armenia aimed at strengthening the independent statehood and sovereignty, as well as developing and diversifying Armenia's economy.
The guest of honor, H.E. Klára Breuer, State Secretary for Bilateral Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary extended congratulations on the occasion of Armenia's National Day and expressed the best wishes of success in building a safe, stable, and prosperous future to the government and the people of Armenia.
During the reception, the guests engaged networking, discussing prospects of further advancing Armenia-Hungary bilateral relations and affirming the enduring friendly bonds between the two peoples.
