Bloomington Reclamite Pavement Preservation work scheduled for next week

BLOOMINGTON, IL - The contractor for the City of Bloomington's Engineering Department will be installing Reclamite pavement preservation next week in a citywide project affecting various locations throughout the City.

The Bloomington City Council approved an over $160,000 contract with Corrective Asphalt Materials, LLC, for this work in May, and it is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 25, 2025, weather permitting. The contractor will distribute notices to each property and place information boxes along the routes that provide dates and additional information prior to the start of the work on each street.
