Arroyo Grande Installs New AED at Pickleball Courts with Donation Received From PG&E

ARROYO GRANDE, CA - In November of 2024, the City of Arroyo Grande received a donation from Pacific Gas and Electric Company in the amount of $2,500 to purchase an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for the City's pickleball courts. The AED is now installed and available for use, enhancing safety and emergency response capabilities for residents and visitors.

The donation is part of PG&E's Better Together Giving Program, which reflects the company's strong commitment to building resilient, healthy communities. PG&E has long supported initiatives that align with public health, safety, and environmental stewardship goals, and their partnership with Arroyo Grande demonstrates this dedication. Through this contribution, PG&E is helping the City ensure that critical safety resources are readily available to everyone who visits and uses our pickleball courts.
