D2 Councilwoman Carmalitha Gumbs Hosting Queens on Wheels, All-Female Ride Women Empowerment Brunch

SOUTH FULTON, GA - (April 24, 2025) - The City of South Fulton's District Two Councilwoman Carmalitha Gumbs, in partnership with the ATL All Female Ride Organization, is hosting Queens on Wheels, an empowering all-female Slingshot ride followed by a women's empowerment brunch. The event will take place on Saturday, May 3 at 9 a.m., at the Wolf Creek Amphitheater, located at 3025 Merk Road SW, South Fulton, GA 30349.

Queens on Wheels is designed to recognize and celebrate women through fellowship, and community connection. Highlights include a showcase of custom Slingshot vehicles by female riders, a line dance session led by Terressa Fields as part of the Boots on the Ground movement, and a special brunch that will provide opportunities for meaningful dialogue and comradery. The event registration will last from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. The Slingshot car parade starts at 10 a.m. and is followed by brunch at noon.

"This event is all about celebrating the power and passion of women - on the road, in our communities, and in our lives," said Councilwoman Carmalitha Gumbs. "Queens on Wheels is an opportunity for ladies to come together and celebrate one another, across generations and backgrounds."

"This event is intended to promote camaraderie among female motorists in slingshots, motorcycles, and Can-Am enthusiasts; and to demonstrate unity for the love of the sport, through fellowship," said Letitia Jackson, City of South Fulton Community Partner with the ATL All Female Ride Organization.
