MEDIA AVAILABILITY: GDOT Prepares for Weekend Winter Weather


WHAT:Georgia DOT is hosting a media availability to provide an overview of Georgia DOT preparations for the coming winter weather. Members of the media are invited to gather b-roll and speak with a spokesperson about the agency's preparations for weather impacts across the region this weekend. Spokesperson will speak on statewide readiness efforts such as staffing, materials, and response planning.

DETAILS: Spokesperson will be available for comment for the duration of this media availability. After approximately 3:00 p.m., media will have the opportunity to capture b-roll of Georgia DOT winter weather equipment and operations, including crews actively making brine and loading brine trucks.
