Three Search Warrants Served Following Ongoing Investigation

Mountain View, CA - Mountain View Police Department Detectives executed three search warrants in connection with a felony battery.

On June 20, 2026, Mountain View Police Department (MVPD) Police Officers responded to the IFES Hall at 432 Stierlin Road after several 911 calls of a large fight in progress. Officers arrived and located one victim of a battery. During the investigation, the victim, a 26-year-old Turlock man, advised officers he lost consciousness after being assaulted by three suspects. The victim sustained several injuries, including multiple lacerations, bruising, and swelling of his upper left eyelid.

Detectives from the MVPD Crimes Against Persons Unit investigated and identified three juvenile suspects: one 14-year-old and two 15-year-olds, all residing in East Palo Alto. All three juveniles are suspected to be in violation of Penal Code 245(a)(4)- assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury. Additionally, the 14-year-old is also suspected of violating Penal Code 422(a)- making criminal threats. All three suspects were arrested on Friday, August 21, in Atherton, due to an unrelated incident. While they were in custody, the MVPD filed additional charges related to the battery that occurred in June.

On Monday, August 24, at approximately 5:00 a.m., Mountain View Police detectives, with coordinated assistance from the Los Altos Police Department, East Palo Alto Police Department, and Redwood City Police Department, executed three search warrants on the 600 block of Montage Circle in East Palo Alto, the 2500 block of Gonzaga Street in East Palo Alto, and the 1800 block of East Bayshore Road in East Palo Alto. No additional arrests have been made following the search warrants.
