AI Study Skills Workshop - AI For Research and Fact Checking

Student Workers Wanted for Child Development Center Kitchen

The Child Development Center is looking for student workers to help in the kitchen area, Monday-Friday from 9am-1pm for the Spring and Summer 2026 semesters. Please contact the Child Development Center for more information regarding qualifications and to request an application.

Priority registration for the Summer & Fall 2026 terms starts on April 20, 2026. Continuing students are assigned a registration date, so please check the Student Portal on April 17, 2026 to find your registration date.

Join us for CSUN x UCLA Day to learn more about the different majors, services, and resources available at CSUN and UCLA. Newly admitted students can make connections to their future campus & prospective students can get started on their transfer journey early!

BEL CAP: Business Day

Wednesday, April 22 from 12-1 p.m. at the VAH

Come meet instructors, get strategies on obtaining gainful employment, acquire tips on job placement, find internships and much more at the Business Entrepreneurship and Law CAP Business Day.

HC CAP: The War in Iran: Context and Consequences

Wednesday, April 22 from 1-2:30 p.m. in LARC 226

Join five LAVC professors in the Humanities & Communications CAP for an afternoon of short, engaging talks examining historical, ethical, economic, and media dimensions of the conflict with Iran, followed by audience discussion.

Genocide Remembrance Day - Holiday

Friday, April 24

LAVC is closed to observe Genocide Remembrance Day. Saturday classes will resume on Saturday, April 25. Weekday classes will resume and college services will reopen on Monday, April 27.

Valley Academic and Cultural Center Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Wednesday, April 29 at 12 p.m. at the VACC

Join us as we celebrate the opening of our Valley Academic & Cultural Center. This building is the new home of the Media Arts, and Theater & Dance departments. It has classrooms, study and rehearsal spaces, newsroom, podcast and radio station, four separate theaters, and more.
